UNIC is an accredited university in Cyprus, a member state of the European Union. Lebanese graduates usually apply for degree equivalence through Lebanon's Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and regulated professions such as medicine, pharmacy and law may have additional requirements. Rules can change, so we explain the current process for your specific programme before you apply.
No. UNIC programmes for international students are taught in English, so you do not need Greek to study. Many students pick up some Greek for daily life, but it is not required.
UNIC admits most students in the Fall (September) and Spring (January) semesters, while some programmes, such as Medicine, have one intake per year. Places in popular programmes fill early, so we recommend starting your application several months ahead. Ask us for the current deadlines.
UNIC has eight schools: Medicine (six degrees, including a six-year Doctor of Medicine), Veterinary Medicine (a five-year DVM), Business (12 bachelor’s and 18 master’s degrees, plus ACA, ACCA, ADIT, CFA and CPD training), Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Human Biology, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Sports Science), Engineering (Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, and Oil & Gas, plus Computer and Data Science), Social & Human Sciences, Education, and Law.
